About a month ago while I was writing a review of HTC Touch Diamond2 I really embroidered with comparative pictures taken by several devices of the same make - HTC and thanks to excelent results I decided to publish all in an individual article. I wanted to do the same thing again with just reviewed HTC Touch Pro2 - pleased by excelent results of Diamond2's camera I tamed a bit passions, because resolution of a new Touch Pro2 is significantly worse, but thanks to the sophisticated application I believed in a decent result. You can convince yourself in this article what happened.

HTC HD2 had paper presumption to become one of the best photo-enabled pocket device with Windows Mobile. But whoa, even after many months since the start of the sale the problem with pink centre of almost all pictures is not eliminated. So I was curious on whether light-weighted HD mini with an idential sensor offers a better show, or whether we will continue to look at the world with somewhat pink glasses. Although Samsung OmniaPRO B7610 is a pure "business" device primarily for work and such very "important" things, it is equipped with 5 megapixels digital camera with autofocus, an electronic stabilizer and LED flash. So well that originally intended comparision with its main competitor - HTC Touch Pro2 due to its very emabarring performance lose a bit of sense. Instead I prepared for you a comparision with perhaps the best phone in taking photos with Windows Mobile - HTC Touch Diamond2 with whom the fight will be fairer at all.

Here is another side-by-side comparison of photo-enabled pocket devices, this time three models of the same make, HTC. While the brand new HTC Touch Diamond2 and HTC Touch HD boast 5-Mpix sensors, the original HTC Touch Diamond features a 3-Mpix chip. HTC has been fitting its devices with increasingly better cameras. While images from the first Diamond can be described as “satisfactory” at best, the new Touch HD and Touch Diamond2 will satisfy even a discerning user.

After a long time, manufacturers started implementing good-quality digital cameras in Windows Mobile-powered devices. They still lag behind top cameraphones yet the latest attempts from HTC and Samsung look promising. Pocket devices with the best cameras undoubtedly include HTC Touch HD with a 5-megapixel chip and Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 with a 3-megapixel chip. A match for them could be Samsung Omnia but I could not get hold of it this time around.

Choosing the most suitable device can be sometimes a very hard job. If you want these days a brand new classic Windows Phone device (device running Windows Mobile and touch screen) you have a wide variety of devices. Although it is considerably reduced at the moment if the object of your desire is only the best and the most powerful device, but right for this reason it could be even harder to choose. For this I have done comparision of three devices that are the most powerful these days - HTC HD2, Samsung Omnia II I800 and Toshiba TG01.
